All attachments need to fit properly, and the crew members should check hook latches before operating the crane and transferring the load.

DRIVE CAREFULLY

Overhead crane drivers must operate the equipment carefully and responsibly, knowing that slight jerking or movements could cause the load to slip and fall and put the team members in danger. The driver must remain in control and focused throughout the process, and regular training and safety seminars are a must.

CREW MEMBERS SHOULD STAY AWARE

Since overhead cranes carry large loads, all crew members should stay aware of the dangers associated with moving heavy loads, and they should remain alert throughout any operation of the overhead cranes. It is a great idea to implement safety signs, such as informing employees of hoist operation when near the hoist, and employees should be trained on proper safety procedures regarding these cranes.
